Tony was employed by the MLB Scouting Bureau as their Alaska scout from 1998 to 2016. Tony is currently working with the Arizona Diamondbacks, primarily as a coach for one of their scout teams. 35+ years coaching experience. Drafted out of high school in 1975 and played in NY Mets organization. Currently the head coach and manager of baseball operations for the Alaska Baseball Academy.

Corey was a dominant baseball player for the East American Legion Baseball Program. Corey was a member of the first ever Alaska High School Championship baseball team in 2000 and a member of East’s 2003 State Championship American Legion squad. Corey had an outstanding collegiate career at Feather River CC and St. Mary’s College of California. Corey was a Gatorade Player of the Year winner for Alaska and was also taken twice in the MLB draft. Corey played 6 seasons with the Florida Marlins organization, including a brief stint with the major league team in spring training during his final year. During the 2011 minor league season Corey had an 8-to-1 strikeout to walk ratio and was near the top in that category for all of professional baseball. Corey is a pitching coach for the Alaska Baseball Academy.

Dan comes to Sockeyes with over 20 years of baseball coaching experience. His scope of coaching has taken him from Little League to High School and then to Competitive travel teams allowing him to assist college bound players find their appropriate path. Coach Dan's brings excellence in player development and game management. You can currently find him coaching Dimond High Baseball through regular season and Legion.

Jeremy is a former player for East High School/American Legion baseball program. He was a member of the first ever Alaska High School State championship team in 2000. He was on the coaching staff for 3 state championship teams at East and has college baseball experience at Central Arizona CC and Kamloops College in Canada. Jeremy is currently a co-head coach of the Alaska Hornets Adult Baseball team that has won 4 State championships and is the reigning Anchorage City champion. He is one of the infield coaches for the Alaska Baseball Academy. |
